Three experienced bar, club and music scene professionals have teamed up to create a San Diego legacy music festival at the scenic Waterfront Park. San Diego Bayfest focuses on a strong musical lineup while exemplifying the finest local food and libations.

The goal of Bayfest is to break down what works in San Diego and stick with it. At the festival aside from high energy musical performances you will find local food vendors including Taco Stands, local bartenders pouring Craft Beer and Craft Cocktails as well as an assortment of local crafts and vending booths.

We’ll have a well-lit safe area for locking bikes up in the waterfront park parking lot next to the ride share area.

There will be a Rideshare area in front of the entrance. Set your drop off to: 1600 Pacific Highway, San Diego, CA 92101

General FAQ

ATMs

There will be a number of ATMs inside the festival grounds.

This is a 21+ event.

There is a devoted First Aid tent and medical staff will be present throughout the festival grounds.

The food program at San Diego Bayfest will include vendors for all types of palates; hand picked to ensure attendees are well fed and happy. All of our bartenders are industry veterans who are fast, efficient and provide the attendees with quality craft cocktails and ice cold beer.

No outside food may be brought into the location, including bottled water. Empty refillable water bottles are ok.

Gate Hours: Saturday 1pm – 11pm

Onsite, the Lost & Found Booth can be found just inside the Front Gate. You can go there to report a missing item and see if we’ve found your missing item. We work hard to reunite folks with their stuff. If you don’t find your item before the festival is over, you can email us at: ([email protected]) to report your missing item.

All ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be provided. In the case of a cancellation, all tickets will be valid at the rescheduled date. Refunds will be issued if a rescheduled date does not take place within 180 days.

Festival will happen RAIN or SHINE. Come prepared!

  • Refillable water bottles; must be under 24oz., no glass. 
  • One small/medium-sized backpack (no large or framed backpacks).
  • Non-Professional, point & shoot cameras (attached lenses must be smaller than 2 inches).
  • NO weapons, fireworks or explosives.
  • NO alcohol or illegal substances.
  • NO Drugs or Drug Paraphernalia.
  • NO Smoking or Vaping of ANY substance inside festival grounds.
  • NO Cannabis Products
  • NO drones or aircraft. We are within yards of the North Island Air Station and Lindberg Airport and it is HIGHLY illegal to fly a drone in this space.
  • NO RC Toys or Cars
  • NO pets (except legitimate service animals as covered by law)
  • NO chairs, tents, pop-ups, canopies or umbrellas.
  • NO squirt guns.
  • NO Balloons, Balls, Inflatable Balls, Frisbees.
  • NO Laser pens or similar focused light devices.
  • NO cameras with detachable lenses. Attached lenses must be smaller than 2 inches.
  • NO Professional Recording Equipment.
  • NO Selfie-Sticks, Go Pros, Tripods.
  • NO Markers, Pens or Spray Paint.
  • NO Stickers, Flyers, Banners, Posters or Flags.
  • NO glass 
  • NO outside beverages.
  • NO outside food (reasonably-priced food is available inside the festival including vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free/dairy-free options).
  • NO coolers of any size, large or framed backpacks, or selfie sticks.
  • NO unauthorized vendors.
  • NO Unauthorized Solicitations, Sampling or Give-Aways
  • NO unapproved pamphlets, handouts, advertisements, and promotional materials (including stickers, vending items, etc).

 

PLEASE NOTE: Any items that are deemed dangerous may not be admitted into the venue. This is at the discretion of Festival Security.

Waterfront Park is an accessible City of San Diego Park with a sidewalk surrounding most of the park.

2024 SDBF ADA Map

There will be a viewing area with chairs made available for ADA patrons that need to be able to see over the crowd. This area is located in GA, above the water fountains. ADA patrons are welcome to have one companion with them at the viewing area. Please note that these areas are on a first-come, first served basis. There is also an entrance on Pacific Highway and W Cedar Street for attendees with limited mobility.

 

Please note, sun shade in this area may not be available so each attendee is responsible for their own sun protection as this area face directly west.

There are two medical tents at SDBF. One is located at the entrance and the other is located next to the main stage. If you or anyone around you is having a medical emergency, please seek assistance from any security guard , Sheriff Deputy or any festival worker and first aide stage will be called to assist. Please familiarize yourself with our festival map for First Aid Tent locations.

Limited accessible parking will be available on Pacific Highway. These are public spaces and are first come, first served. 

There will be accessible restrooms available and located behind the accessible viewing area.
